Boroughs Bacchanal

THE EVENT WILL BE HELD EVEN IN BAD WEATHER.

During the Boroughs Bacchanal, people in period costumes will welcome you to the City’s old town amidst ancient charms, dancing, music, good food and drink. Two days of re-enactments lived as protagonists, accompanied and followed by the City’ s boroughs that are the key protagonists of Alba’s history.

Through the daily actions of the boroughs’ inhabitants, it will be possible to see and touch what life was like in the Middle Ages in Alba, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient times.

In addition to an ideal itinerary through the various boroughs —each represented with historical costumes, flags, and themed decorations—the Bacchanal will be an opportunity to taste traditional dishes in a street food style. Plus, there will be plenty of fun, as each borough will set up traditional games.

The opening and consumption of glass bottles in the historic center of the city is prohibited (as per the mayor’s ordinance of October 6, 2024, protocol no. 244).
