Asti-Cuneo: travel freely with the Free-flow system

From September 1, 2024, the Asti-Alba section of the A33 features a barrier-free Free Flow toll system, with payment required within 15 days of transit.

Transits will be available within 24 hours of passage.

The Free Flow system

Enjoy an improved travel experience and a more sustainable infrastructure.

The Free Flow system is a toll collection method that allows tolls to be paid without stopping or slowing down at barriers. Specific detection portals installed along the route allow the identification and classification of vehicles as they drive by, enabling the amount due for the stretch of motorway actually travelled to be calculated automatically. The Free Flow system brings advantages to users and benefits for the environment: without altering traffic flows, safety levels are increased and pollutant emissions from queueing vehicles are reduced.

If you have Telepass or another electronic toll system the payment is made automatically when your vehicle passes under the portal

If you don’t have Telepass or another electronic toll system you can pay online within 15 days on the website www.asticuneo.it.

In addition, it will be possible to pay the toll at the kiosks located on the territory covered by the Free Flow system.
