Alba, home to the International Alba White Truffle Fair, is renowned worldwide as a land of fine food and great wines. But it also aims to increasingly establish itself as a place for dialogue and debate on the most pressing global issues, such as sustainability and climate change.
The International Alba White Truffle Fair has taken a leading role in a major cultural shift by organizing a series of talks titled “Sostenibilità Incrociate”, which brought together figures from the worlds of high finance, digital innovation, fine craftsmanship, haute couture, art, music, design, culture, and, of course, haute cuisine. These voices were invited to reflect on the urgent need for a change of course at all levels—an urgency highlighted by younger generations who, from spectators, are becoming active “players.”
It was a weekend full of high-level events, offering insights and reflections on the theme of sustainability, interpreted across three key dimensions: economic, social, and environmental.
On Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30, the stage of Alba’s Teatro Sociale hosted encounters between seemingly distant worlds, brought together in a continuous exchange between the global and the local, during this two-day event co-produced by Class Editori.
