After “Pepita”, the “Alba” and “Xfetta” truffle slicers, the “Trace” gloves, and the “Giacomo” Truffle brushes, a new object designed by the Milanese designer enriches the White Truffle of Alba Kit.
The latest must-have addition to the White Truffle of Alba Kit is the stand designed by renowned architect and designer Fabio Novembre and his studio.
The concept behind the project is rooted in a simple yet powerful idea: the unbreakable bond between the City of Alba and the White Truffle. The stand is meant to celebrate this relationship, drawing direct inspiration from the city’s history and, in particular, the layout of its historic center. The design is inspired by the Roman ruins of “Underground Alba,” creating a parallel with the truffle—which also grows underground—thus honoring the product’s origin and provenance.
The “plate” of the stand echoes the octagonal shape of the Roman layout of Alba Pompeia. Meanwhile, the base and stem represent the underground origin of the truffle, with an organic form whose cross-section matches the map of the city’s historic center, also evoking the shape of the truffle itself.

The stand was created thanks to a collaboration with the Eta Beta Social Cooperative of Bologna, which, through the “Servito” project, brings creativity, design, and professionalism to the service of social responsibility and environmental sustainability.
With over twenty years of experience, Servito exists thanks to the commitment of so-called “disadvantaged” social groups and individuals in situations of vulnerability and social marginalization. The non-profit organization—founded and still chaired by the Catalan-born artist Joan Crous—recovers and reuses materials processed with respect for environmental and social sustainability, key themes in the new vision of the Fair.
The Cooperative primarily supports individuals in fragile and marginalized social conditions.
Believing that pluralism and diversity are valuable resources, over the years they have listened to and responded to the needs of individuals and public institutions. Together, they have explored alternative paths to identify social-rehabilitation, training, and employment opportunities, both within and outside the cooperative. Alongside the artistic and artisanal workshops—always the heart of Eta Beta—an entirely new vision of social entrepreneurship has gradually developed: the individual, necessarily at the center, is a bearer of cultural, emotional, and economic value.
They have thus placed work at the core, as an essential tool for personal dignity; they have created activities that respect individual specificities while also carrying broader meaning.
As a result, they have defined three main areas of focus: education, health, and environmental sustainability.
