Born in 1985 in Vallese di Oppeano<\/strong>, in the province of Verona,\u00a0Giacomo Sacchetto<\/strong>\u00a0began his culinary journey in Verona before moving to London. There, he spent two and a half years honing his skills at\u00a0Toto\u2019s<\/strong>, under the guidance of Chef Paolo Simioni, and later at\u00a0Foliage<\/strong>, the restaurant of the\u00a0Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel<\/strong>.
\nUpon returning to Italy, he joined the team at the\u00a0three-Michelin-starred St. Hubertus<\/strong>, led by Chef\u00a0Norbert Niederkofler<\/strong>, where he spent three years gaining experience in every kitchen station, from appetizers to pastry. During this time, he fully embraced the philosophy of\u00a0Cook the Mountain<\/em>, learning about sustainability and biodiversity in mountain cuisine.<\/p>\n

Sacchetto then had the opportunity to work with another icon of Italian gastronomy,\u00a0Giancarlo Perbellini<\/strong>, in Isola Rizza, establishing a strong professional bond. After this long Veronese chapter, he returned to work with Niederkofler as\u00a0sous chef<\/strong>\u00a0for about three years. In the following years, he continued his journey at\u00a0Locanda Margon<\/strong>\u00a0with Alfio Ghezzi,\u00a0Le Calandre<\/strong>\u00a0with the Alajmo family, and\u00a0Berton<\/strong>\u00a0in Milan.
\nWhen\u00a0Casa Perbellini<\/strong>\u00a0reopened, Sacchetto returned as sous chef, a role he held for four years. He then decided to embark on a new project:\u00a0La Cru<\/strong>, an intimate gourmet restaurant with just five tables at the time. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, La Cru earned a\u00a0Michelin Star in October 2020<\/strong>, followed by a\u00a0Green Star in 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0May 2023<\/strong>, Sacchetto returned to Verona to begin a new adventure with\u00a0Iris Ristorante<\/strong>. His meeting with entrepreneur\u00a0Bruno Soave<\/strong>\u00a0sparked an immediate and fruitful collaboration. The restaurant opened in\u00a0November 2023<\/strong>, was listed in the\u00a0Michelin Guide within five months<\/strong>, and in\u00a0November 2024<\/strong>, was awarded\u00a0one Michelin Star<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Cooking Shows<\/strong> offer a unique opportunity to experience haute cuisine up close, thanks to the presence of talented chefs who present original and refined dishes, each reflecting their own personal culinary vision. In a warm and engaging atmosphere, guests will enjoy a creation specially prepared for the event, paired with a glass of Alta Langa DOCG<\/strong>, carefully selected to enhance the overall tasting experience.<\/p>\n

The event lasts approximately an hour and a half. To ensure the quality and organization of the experience,\u00a0no changes to the menu<\/strong>\u00a0can be made in case of allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary requirements.<\/p>\n

Please note that Alba White Truffle shavings<\/strong>\u00a0are not included, but may be added to the dish based on the\u00a0daily quotation from the Truffle Exchange<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Children who wish to take part in the tasting must have a valid ticket.
